I think something all of us can forget, but a lot of newbie artists don't realize. People can see your frustration. There's a phrase that goes around in writing. "If you hate writing it, we hate reading it."
People can tell when you're struggling. I don't do lineart anymore but this is where I see it the most. People want to just get it done quickly and there's no love to the strokes. They forget that for all intents and purposes, they're drawing something very visible that people can see. Most don't clean it up post production, so if you're rushing through it. And just copying line for line of your sketch without realizing you have to re-imagine it to a degree.
People notice. I notice.
Do it with love. Be patient and take your time. It'll be well worth it, I promise.
